Leadership: Kerry P. Patin, Founding Principal
KP7 Strategies is led by Kerry P. Patin, a veteran and executive consultant with a unique blend of extensive private-sector leadership, academic rigor, and military discipline.
Prior to founding the firm, he spent eight years in Washington, D.C., working at an analytical, Executive Branch-focused lobbying firm. Operating at the highest levels of federal policy and advocacy provided him with an insider's perspective on how agencies operate, how funding is prioritized, and how to effectively engage government stakeholders.
That strategic expertise is backed by a strong academic foundation. Kerry holds a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychological and Brain Sciences from George Washington University. This education provides a distinct advantage in the consulting space: an understanding of not just the mechanics of policy and procurement, but the behavioral psychology and human communication elements that drive decision-making.
Kerry’s career began in the United States Air Force, where he served as an Aerospace Medical Technician. The high-stakes environment of military service instilled a commitment to precision, adaptability, and mission-first execution—core values that drive client engagement.
